Organic in more ways than one. housman collective clothes are made using fabric that reduces pressure on the environment. This might mean that they are from an organic cotton farm, or recycled textiles from a market, or are vintage pieces changing shape and given a new lease of life. Where we are involved in the dyeing or printing process, we are as natural as possible, using environmentally friendly dyes and inks.
We also work in a way that enables our ideas to be organically developed. As a sister duo we are able to be very flexible and in touch with every small step of the journey. We want to tread lightly in the world. To reap good things for the planet through our sowing. You reap what you sow. Or sew.
